The Israeli Liga Leumit (Hebrew: הליגה הלאומית, HaLiga HaLeumit, lit. 'National League') is the second division of the professional Israeli association football (soccer) league system. This 2ⁿᵈ tier league is placed right below the Israeli Premier League.
History
Liga Leumit came into existence at the start of the 1955–56 season, replacing Liga Alef as the top division in Israeli football. However, it was usurped as the top flight in the 1999–2000 season, when it was replaced by the Premier League. Since then it has operated as the second tier in the Israeli football league system.

Az Izraeli Leumit Liga az izraeli labdarúgás második legmagasabb osztálya az Izraeli Premier Ligát követően. A bajnokságot 1951/52-ben indították el, és 16 csapat szerepel benne. A szezon ősztől tavaszig tart, és minden csapat 30 mérkőzést játszik. Az első két helyezett feljut az Izraeli Premier Ligába, míg a harmadik és negyedik helyezett csapatok rájátszást játszanak az utolsó feljutó helyért. Az utolsó két helyezett csapat kiesik a Liga Alefba.
