Club Deportes Castro is a Chilean professional basketball team located in Castro, Chile. The team currently competes in the Liga Nacional de Básquetbol de Chile.
History
Deportes Castro was established in 2003. The team's first coach was Jose Fernandez, who led the team until 2010. The most notable performance were at the Liga Nacional 2011-2012, when they won the title.
A Deportes Castro egy chilei kosárlabdacsapat, amely a chilei Primera Divisiónban szerepel. A csapatot 1950-ben alapították, és székhelye Castro városában található, Chiloé szigetén. A Deportes Castro a chilei kosárlabda történetének egyik legsikeresebb csapata, 9 bajnoki címmel. A csapatot összességében 13-szor választották a Liga Chilena de Básquetbol legjobb csapatává, ami rekord. A csapatot 2014-ben és 2015-ben is megválasztották a Déli Liga legjobb csapatának. A Deportes Castro szerepelt már a Dél-Amerika Szuperligában is, ahol a legjobb eredményük a 2013-as idényben elért negyeddöntő volt.
